Question : What is the best way to improve my web page ranking if I have php pages?
In php you have the head.txt and foot.txt plus the content page. The head.txt & foot.txt is nice because you only need to put your logo and navigation bar in one time. The search engines always look at the head.txt first for the title and meta-tags. So if I put the title and meta-tags in the head.txt then the search engine is happy and it seems as if the content page is referenced properly. Well, the only problem with this is that I have to have a different head.txt for each one of my 500 pages. This kind of defeats the purpose of having a simple head.txt or header that is common for each page. I tried taking the title and meta-tags out of the head.txt and leaving it in the content pages, and I get all kinds of errors if I use any type of web page analyzers. They say I have no title or meta-tags. I think I'm stuck with making 500 unique head.txt pages unless I can install some code in the head.txt that will refer all of the search engines and robots to only look at the content page

Answer:
This one might get a bit long, but i'm not busy so hey... Php is a server side script that runs when a page is called. We will say for example, index.php. I will venture a guess and say you are using include("head.txt") somewhere in your index.php. Now, I guess alot, but if I am right, follow along. If these 500 pages are in the same site, you should probably keep the same keywords if the site is themed correctly. If not, consider using a database or a table to have all the data in one place easily accessible. My next guess is that you want to change the page title for each page. I usually prefer one title across pages, but you can do this with come creativity. $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] is a string that is the file name of the page. http://us2.php.net/dirname explains dirname() that can give the directory your script is running in. These together can be used for the primary key in a database. Then you can pull what you need. Overly complicated? A little... Or, you can have your structure in one file, content in another and variables in a third.

Question : My dodge b1500 1997 van 3.9L 6cyl. The van cuts off-replaced many sensors any ideas?
It happens when i come to stop at a light or after i stop (for gas) and crusing down the highway it starts to cut off and i have to restart on road. I think it is some sensor because i replaced: Fuel pump - (in tank) It was going bad anyway as it turned out (no fuel pressure - not up to spec) so this was good TPS throttle position sensor Ignition Coil Distributor Coil Idle Air Cntrol Rotor/distbutor Plug wires Plugs Air filter. Of course, It runs much better as these DID need changing but, it still stalls. Seems to be no way to predict conditions that occur to cause the engine shutdown. I noticed the lights did go out once when it was about to stall. But that doesnt happen every time. I dont have enough $ to replace all the sensors and / or the EMT computer (unless you know that is what is wrong). The van usually starts back up but sometimes with difficulty. Sometimes I must turn off the key and try again to get it started. Otherwise, if I start cranking it then it doesn't fire up. It's like it is not getting fuel, but, see details below for what I have replaced. Anyway, no codes come back. it failed while on the analyzer and they still couldnt figure it out. I was told a relay could be bad too. I switched all the identical relays around but no luck. -------------- The parts I want to try next are expensive so I am trying to narrow this down: Ignition Switch Crank position sensor Cam position sensor MCU (computer) PS. I did scan at auto zone and it returned the coil. I erased the codes in case it happened again and it has stalled hard a few times but now returns no codes. so, what returns no codes that could cause this van to stall?

Answer:
why don't you have the computer scanned on it its free, and it will keep you from buying parts for it that you don't need, you can replace every sensor on it and still not get it right, seen it happen a few times, auto zone or advance will scan it for free, then you,ll at least know, your going to wind up replacing parts on it that it don't even need, more or less wasting money on it,good luck with it and merry x-mas.

Question : Give me your opinion insights and summary or how you understand this..?
Give me your opinion insights and summary or how you understand this..?

Answer:
Reality check. The philippines has good sound laws but corrupt political influences always delay the implementation of these laws. By the time these laws are enforced, they become so obsolete that another law must be passed (just like the politicians who regularly pass gas - i.e. fart through their mouth).

Question : Why are emission tests unreliable, yet the testers act like they know it all? One couldn't even find the DLC.
I failed emissions and then circled around and went to a different test stall and passed. I warmed up the engine and drove a bit prior to getting tested. I had tested it as well with my 4 gas analyzer and it was within specs. Also, there was no line so I didn't have to sit and idle at all. This has happened to me three times in three different vehicles (no fords) in the last 10 years. One was a Chevy sprint, one was a '77 vette L48, one was an Olds Delta 88. I believe the tests are not accurate or the equipment is miscalibrated, or it's just a money making scheme for the State and Certified Emissions Repair Services. Also, the last one I took through, ('84 500SEL) failed miserably, Like by 1000%. I threw a tune up and adjusted the timing (which was out 20 degrees) and it ran great so I went for it. This time though, I idled for about 20 minutes while they couldn't input the title data. (this car had never had emissions not required where it came from). Also didn't run it prior.

Answer:
Anthony: You are a smart guy. Ever notice the Testing Company IS NOT from the state your living in? Key word is "Money Making Scheme". I have had to pass Vehicle emissions tests in N.Y., Arizona, Idaho, & Tennessee. All Hot Rods. Fail first time, readjusted and was back in 15 minutes. Testing company said How and who made repairs. I said myself, and no repair, ADJUSTMENTS. Passed every time on second pass. One time, I had mufflers with outside baffles. The guy didn't know where to take exhaust sample. A well tuned stock 1966 Chevrolet Impala with a 2 BBL carb. (283 CID ) will STILL pass any test in any state. My opinion: Same as yours. Scam!

Question : 2001 Chevy Venture taking 2 much gas, producing black smoke, turning off while I am waiting at a traffic light
I changed my engine 3 weeks ago as I blew up my head gasket. Ever since the engine change, my van is taking a LOT of gas and sometimes produces lots of clear smoke when I am driving on he highway. If I am parked in P, and give some gas, it is producing lots of black smoke. Also, my engine light has been on for a while and I took it to AutoZone today and they checked my van's computer. The analyzer reported that I have Mass Air Flow sensor and O2 sensor problem. So, today I replaced the MAF sensor and the problems seems NOT to have gone. I still see occasionally clear smoke while giving gas on highway and black smoke while being in P. I have already spent $3000 on my van changing the engine and spent $250 today changing MAF sensor and my battery as it was dying out. As I said b4, while waiting at a light being in D, after 5-10 secs my van will start shaking and will eventually turn off. Any help will be appreciated as I am very helpless. Thank you all.

Answer:
When the check engine light goes on it means the cars computer is seeing a fault in one or more systems. Getting the trouble codes from an autoparts store can steer you in the right direction to repair but the code has to be diagnosed. It is not always a faulty sensor, it could be a bad ground, an open wire in a sensor circuit. I'm sure you don't want to go spend more money guessing the problem. A few things you can check to make sure that you must have a qualified tech fix the problem is to check the basics. 1. Make sure your battery cables are clean and tight. 2. Make sure the vacuum hoses are routed correctly and there are no leaks. 3. Make sure all electrical connections are properly connected and tight. You said that you had the engine changed because the head gasket was blown, as long as the engine is in good shape and the proper one for the vehicle it should run as well as it did before you blew the head gasket.

Question : What's up with the Meta Tag Analyzers on SEO sites?
My tags are good, at least they follow all the tutorial guidelines from www.w3schools.com. Yet these sites can't find them is it a gimic to get people to doubt they know how to do meta, so these search engine optimization sites can get paid. Or are my tags only good when looked through by some search engines, but not others. http://www.widexl.com/remote/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/ http://www.theemiratesnetwork.com/computers/webmaster/analyzer.htm are just a few I've tried. www.metatagmd.com http://www.seomasters.com/ Didn't even give me an analysis
